gin I just declined a job opportunity. A really, really good job with an amazing leader, where I could have achieved some great things. The position fell into my lap, thanks to an introduction by a former colleague, so honestly it couldn’t have been a more perfect situation.

But I’m just not ready to bring Corporate Spice out of retirement. I’m not sure when I will be ready, and thankfully I don’t have to dust off the suits any time soon. I know I made the right decision, although now I’m worried I’ve just shot myself in the foot financially. I have outdoors gear to buy!

No wine tonight. Just a gin. Or two. This one is called Ink and is distilled in northern NSW. It’s purple, thanks to some local botanicals (basically making it bush tucker, so this may also be dinner), but goes pink when tonic water is added.
